Junior Camp (grades K - 2nd)
Junior Camp is designed to instill confidence and enjoyment in campers while they start to grow independently. Days are filled with fun, friends, and wonderful activities on the fields and green space around the JCC as well as the wooded areas of the Irving M. Shuman Campgrounds. Jewish values, tradition, ruach (spirit), Israeli culture and special guests are woven into camp days through song, swimming, nature, art, stories, sports, drama, games, and celebrations.
Kindergarten: Sharon שרון
Sharon groups have a top-notch experience of programs, clinics, special events and so much more. Sharon campers have the choice to attend camp three or five days per week.
With a low camper to counselor ration, our youngest campers will explore all Camp Centerland has to offer and (based on weeks enrolled), may participate in two stay late programs during the summer.
Grades 1 & 2: Negev נגב
Campers entering 1st and 2nd grades attend Camp Centerland five days per week. Children will explore Camp Centerland with a taste of crafts, sports, adventure, nature, Jewish learning, and swimming instruction.
The activities for Negev are designed to nurture creativity and build skills while allowing campers to explore, have fun and be part of our camp community. Negev campers are the youngest group to get to scale the rock wall!

Consistent with the JCC's mission; children with physical, mental and emotional challenges have been welcomed and included in our camp program. Early registration is strongly recommended. An interview is required so that we can understand and meet your child's needs.
